Youth Parliament organizes a large fundraiser every year.
This year we organized an event called Sweet Dreams Dessert
and Auction.
Sweet Dreams has transformed
itself over the years as a small event to a large elegant one.
It originated as a catered dinner and dance with a "Dream
Auction" as an add-on event. Auction has occured
in many forms over the last few years, from a 'Dessert and Auction',
to a 'Wine and Cheese,' to this years 'Dinner and Auction.'
All proceeds from this gala fundraising
event are used to subsidize the cost of Camp Phoenix and BCYP’s
many ambitious projects. The goal each year is to raise funds
to help provide subsidies for children to go to Camp Phoenix.
