ways to donate

1. donate online Online credit card donations can be made at CanadaHelps. Donations can be earmarked specifically to Parliament, to Camp Phoenix or to the Alumni Society, and can also be made in honour of a current Member. Electronic tax receipts are issued instantaneously by CanadaHelps.

2. donate by mail Donation cheques can be mailed to Karn Safaya, Minister of Finance, at the address listed below. Cheques should be made payable to “British Columbia Youth Parliament”. Donations can be earmarked specifically to Parliament or to Camp Phoenix, and can also be made in honour of a current Member by enclosing a short note with the cheque. The Minister will only issue a tax receipt if a written request is included with the cheque.

3. donations in kind Items, including gift certificates, gift baskets, artwork and household items, for our Urban Nights event can be donated by contacting the Jillian Steger, Minister of Community Fundraising. Tax reciepts are also available for items donated under this category, corresponding to the suggested retail value of the item.
