Welcome to the BCYP website!

Thank you for taking the time to look through this site.  It is our hope that the information provided here will give you a glimpse of what BC Youth Parliament is all about. 

The British Columbia Youth Parliament is a youth service organization dedicated to fulfilling its’ motto of youth serving youth.  Every year 95 individuals from around BC gather in Victoria at the legislature and spend a week experiencing and partaking in the parliamentary process, debating and learning all about the BC Youth Parliament and its various community initiatives.  

Throughout the year, the Members of our organization continue to be involved, partaking in a variety of activities in their communities.  We are responsible for organizing several Regional Youth Parliaments and community service events, as well as a Sweet Dream Dessert and Auction to raise money for our projects.  One of our largest and most ambitious projects is Camp Phoenix, a summer camp for children ages 8-11.
