The 23rd session of VYP is happened January 29-31th at the University of British Columbia.
Vancouver Youth Parliament is the only RYP to run uninterrupted since its conception in March of 1988. At its First Session, VYP encompassed Vancouver, Richmond, Surrey, Delta, Langley and White Rock. Today VYP encompasses a smaller area, consisting of Vancouver, Richmond and Delta, as those other areas are now under the jurisdiction of the Lower Mainland East Youth Parliament. Locations for VYP have included Vancouver College, Masonic Hall and the University of British Columbia. Past Lieutenant Governors have included MLAs Rev. Val Anderson, Gordon Campbell and Linda Reid.
