Community service is definitely at the heart
of BCYP. With a motto such as Youth Serving Youth,
how could there be any doubt?
There's service events being carried out throughout British Columbia all
the time by our members. Each and every
single one of our members has a personal commitment to his or her own individual
service projects in their communities, whether this be volunteering
at a hospital, coaching a sports team, or donating time to causes
like Big Brothers or Big Sisters.
We also undertake group service events, where members come together
to volunteer with different organisations or at special events. In
the past, these projects have included volunteering with organisations like
the Variety Club, the Multiple Sclerosis Society, and the Union
Gospel Mission.
